Step 1: Pressure Washing

Pressure washing the surface of your brick pavers is the first step to preparing your surface for sealing. This will remove any foreign particles such as dirt that may have settled onto the surface of the brick pavers.

Step 2: Surface Preparation

Efflorescence Remover


Coverage: 50-200 Square Feet per Gallon
Efflorescence Remover is a mild remover of masonary efflorescence, the white chalky haze that develops on concrete based products such as brick pavers. Efflorescence Remover is also useful for removing cement scale and grout haze consisting of a blend of acids, a surfactant, and an antifoaming agent that is designed to reduce etching on delicate surfaces.

Use prior to application of a sealer. Does not remove or clean oil, grease, or rust stains. Use Jobsite Cleaner instead for these tasks.

Use Jobsite Cleaner to nuetralize the PH level before using sealer.



Jobsite Cleaner

Jobsite Cleaner is a non-toxic concrete, tile and masonry cleaner developed for construction use. It removes dirt, grime, grease and oil from concrete, masonry, wood, grout or any difficult to clean surface.

Jobsite Cleaner is a concentrated mix that can be diluted with up 8 parts water.



Step 3: Sealer Selection and Application


* Pavers must dry for 24 hours BEFORE and AFTER sealer application.


Seal-Lock


Finish: Matte Finish
Coverage: 100-200 Square Feet per Gallon
White Mountain Seal-Lock combines the latest in water base acrylic masonry sealer technology with the ideal percentage of product solids to create the ultimate concrete interlocking paver seal and joint sand stabilizer.

Seal-Lock not only provides superior protection against stains and exceptional water resistance, but its properties bond and lock down the sand between the paving joints. This properly seals the space between the brick pavers thus reducing weed growth and ant mines.

Seal-Lock will also enhance the natural beauty and color of your pavers while improving their durability and resistance to fading. Seal-Lock penetrates the pavers, creating a durable surface film that retards adhersion of airborne particles, mold, and mildew.



Wet Look Lacquer


Finish: High Gloss Finish
Coverage: 100-400 Square Feet per Gallon
Wet Look Lacquer provides a high gloss finish that maintains that "Wet Look" all of the time as well as enhancing the natural beauty and color of your brick pavers.

Application methods include bruch, roller, or sprayer. Additional coats provide added protection and a higher gloss finish.
